Wildcat Youth Football is a member of the Tennessee Valley Youth Football League (TVYFL). Teams are divided into the following age groups:
Sophomore: 7-8 Years Old (Older/Lighter - 9 YO and 70 lbs.
or less)
Junior: 9-10 Years Old (Older/Lighter - 11 YO and 80 lbs. or
less)
Senior: 11-12 Years Old (Older Lighter - 13 YO and 95
lbs. or less)
* Season Age is determined by the child's age on August 31st,
2012
** The Older/Lighter rule is used either to ensure that an
inexperienced child who is also small for his age can play with
a younger group or, where necessary, to complete a roster for a
team that might otherwise not have enough players to compete.
The Cheer Squads are accepting girls ages 5-12 and will be formed based upon age and the number
of participants. It is our goal to form one squad per age
group where we have a football team.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
We NEED volunteers. This organization can not exist without YOU!
Please consider volunteering to help in whatever capacity you can. Immediate
needs include assitant coaches for football teams and head coaches for cheer squads.
